I'm Aditi and I'm an architect by profession and an amateur  photographer in my spare time.

​

Born in India and having lived in the UK since the age of 10, I feel a part both of Asian and Western cultures. Having left India at such a young age, I am forever drawn to Asia in the quest to learn more about the culture that I come from and feel a strong affinity to. A large part of my photographic work is from travels in the region. 

​

My first foray into photography was as an architect in training - documenting sites and buildings. My interest developed as I began to travel to new and exciting places that I wanted to capture and remember. My photography was initially limited to nature and architecture, but when I took a long trip around Asia in 2019, I became fascinated by the everyday - the street scenes of local people going about their lives. Today my focus is predominantly on travel photography, but this encapsulates so many other genres and there is endless overlap between them.
